A wonderful, rustic little ex voto heart capsule. This vessel is the perfect container in which to place a treasure or hand written note, a ring or lock of hair, quartz crystals, dried flowers and anything else your heart desires. I imagine this piece painted in a rich patina with a leather cord wrapped around the top. You can create your own “hinge” using a bit of stiff fabric or leather glued to both sides on the back. Make a closure on the front with wire, or string, a tiny button or get a small brass hinge and clasp, so many possibilities. A metal jewelry loop can be inserted into the top to hang it if desired.
