The Nutcracker Suite

I'm listening to Tchaikovsky as I write. The Nutcraker Suite at full blast and my Christmas in full mode.  Christmas is my favorite time of the year!  I started collecting nutcrackers some 20 years ago when my son was born.  They seemed to me like the perfect thing to decorate my Christmas with.  I have some pretty cool ones.  I admit to getting into the crazy Black Friday thing one year, when I had very little money and very high hopes of owning a 4 ft tall nutcracker.  Diego was four years old and the nutcracker was almost as tall as he was and he enjoyed it immensely.  He's actually in my house all year long, a very big soldier that I particularly love!

Around 5 years ago a friend of mine found a blank one, can you imagine!!!! I had the possibility of creating my own for the very first time!!!! I figured paper was my medium so I had to do it in paper and he was grand and he created a new need, to do at least one every year! They are all different, a reflection of what's new in my creativity each year. And well you know my obsession with Dresdens so I had to have one just like so!

I wanted head to toe Dresden work, I almost used them all, first and second release, speaking about toes take a look!
