From the Tribe: RELICS & ARTIFACTS® Guest Ambassador Lynne Moncrieff

A new monthly feature presenting the heart of our Tribe, Guest Ambassadors are chosen from the Relics & Artifacts® Tribe on Facebook.  The team regularly combs through the many innovative, creative and awe inspiring projects shared.  Membership has its perks! Why miss out on so much inspiration and a chance to be invited as a Guest Ambassador?

This month's "From the Tribe" feature comes to us from the uber-talented Lynne Moncrieff.  Let's get to know Lynne and what drives her creativity.

"Creating is my passion, whether exploring mixed media, assemblage, altered art, fabric, jewelry, or wearable art.  Simply, it's about listening to my inner voice and letting it direct me in whichever particular direction she wants to go at any given time.  I am self-taught and most definitely my heart belongs to stamping as I am known to sneak the smallest stamped element into any project.

My creative life has several facets from being part of several design teams as well as regularly contributing to Stampington & Company.  My blog, Adorn, as well as my Facebook page are other active areas of my creative life."

Shall we take a look at the beautiful artwork and story that Lynne has craftily woven for us?

This pendant speaks of the narrative of Maude, a gentle soul with the sweetest smile but an ache in her heart as all that remains of her betrothed are the letters he tenderly wrote to her.  We do not know if her love is on distant shores or if he met an untimely death.

All we know is for Maude to feel close to him, she gathers the sweet bundle of handwritten letters and wanders in the garden where she seeks solitude.

The tissue thin paper of the letters rustle in the gentle summer day’s breeze with the air enveloped in the scent of blossoming rosebuds.

As Maude sits reading each letter, absorbing the tenderly written words, she catches her tears in her delicate lace handkerchief as the sunlight catches the pearl necklace her love gifted to her.

Lynne's work has absolutely wowed us here at RELICS & ARTIFACTS®.  If you would like to create your own "Into the Garden with Maude" necklace, Lynne has so graciously prepared a Snapguide to help you on your journey.

Do not delay!  Join the Tribe for your chance to be invited as a Guest Ambassador.
