"A Gift" with RELICS & ARTIFACTS® Ambassador Chrissy Colon

At the very top my son's Christmas wish list was something that actually caught me by surprise.  He wanted a cross necklace.  Of course, being the dutiful mom and trying to make that wish come true, I began my tireless search for a cross necklace.

Everything I seemed to come across was either too delicate for a boy of twelve who loves NERF wars, sports, and rough-housing or was, in his words, "too girly".  After growing frustrated at the seemingly lack of "masculine crosses" out there, genius struck.

"Hey Jeremiah!  What do you think about me making you a cross necklace?"  His face lit up and his response was, "Yeah!  That would be so cool!"  Problem solved!  He chose the cross from the Crosse Icons set of RELICS & ARTIFACTS® and loved the idea of aged rust and wire.

After some decorative yet still masculine silver beads and genuine leather cording, his wish was complete.  I sat here waiting for him to come home so that I could show him the finished piece.  When he walked through the door, I showed him his cross necklace.  His response was simple.

"Mom, it's perfect. Thank you."
