Did you know that there are Digital Relics® available for you to incorporate into your work?  When I discovered them in the Shop, my mind immediately started racing with ideas on how to show the digital darkside some love.  We often get so caught up in the matte resin craft blanks, that we forget there is a whole new world waiting to be unlocked and that the digital elements pair with the resin elements perfectly.

What raced through my mind as I was crafting this piece?  What stories does this woman hold within her tattered image?  How can I make her come alive?

The Venetiane Nobili was a force to be reckoned with.  Under her beautifully crafted gown and bejeweled bodice, there lies a quiet and hidden ferocity, a ferocity that cut like the sharpest sword but was cloaked in gentleness and a demure façade much like the olive branches that ensconce the lethal blade.  Her faith in not only herself, but her God can only be described as unwavering, but like any other human, she hungers for wealth and power.

The stories that my imagination seem to conjure when I look at these digital jewels run rampant and the ideas just start flowing.  Perhaps there is more to her mysterious story.  To be continued...
