Jenn White's Pumpkin Princess
Hi everyone! I am happy you are here with me today.♡ Thank you so much for stopping by.♡
I decided to create this enchanted pumpkin princess story book doll for my grandchildren to enjoy while I read my stories aloud to them.
Creative writing & story telling with all the fine details, hand gestures & different voices has been a passion of mine since the very early years of my life.
All of my life I have been in love with books, dolls & stories read aloud.
They are treasures.
Cherished great friends that have been silent witnesses to every day of my life.
I have been an avid book & doll collector since my birth & have been writing short stories & poetry since 6th grade of elementary school.
Sandra Evertson's Relics & Artifacts designs have been a dream come true for me.
Thank you Sandra for the beautiful craft blank bases you design & the art supplies that invite & inspire my imagination & bring my stories to life in custom dolls, which I can paint & decorate any way I wish.
This doll will also be a great Autumn decor conversation piece to have on seasonal decorative display in my home or on my desk at work.
I hope you are inspired to make one too.♡
I invite you to create your very own pumpkin dolls in your own style.♡
It would fill my heart with so much joy to see your Relics & Artifacts creations posted on the Relics & Artifacts Tribe Facebook group.♡
If you are not already a member I invite you to request to join today.♡
Sandra Evertson's Relics & Artifacts products I used :
Crown from Ancient Soul II.
Relics & Artfacts VerDay Copper metal paint.
Relics & Artifacts VerDay Brass metal paint.
Other products used :
Craft store styrofoam decorative pumpkin.
Upcycled worn slick favorite bohemian style blouse that I could not part with or throw away. I used it because the color of it coordinated well with the Relics & Artifacts VerDay patina.
Bottles of Ranger Crystal Stickles. (This one has iridescent interference green toned glitter in it.) Used as a base coat for the pumpkin before I applied the KROMA crackle.
Jar of Glossy Mod Podge to seal the pumpkin.
Hot glue sticks & hot glue gun to glue the Artist's. Model doll to the center of the pumpkin, the fabric to the pumpkin & the doll then to glue the crown to the Artist's Model doll's head.
A variety of paint brushes for applying each wet art supply listed above.
A pair of fabric scissors to trim apart the green blouse.
A pair of pliers to pull out the pumpkin stem.
A craft knife or box knife to dig out some of the pumpkin for the pour spout of the Artist's model to fit down into.
What will you create?
Please do not hesitate to show me what my post inspired you to create.♡
