A wonderful, on the rustic side, little ex voto heart capsule topped with a Mexican carved angel. This vessel is the perfect container in which to place a treasure or hand written note, a ring or lock of hair, quartz crystals, dried flowers and anything else your heart desires. I imagine this piece painted in a rich patina with a leather cord wrapped around the top. You can create your own “hinge” using a bit of stiff fabric or leather glued to both sides on the back. Make a tiny closure on the front with wire, or string, a tiny button or get a small brass hinge and clasp, so many possibilities. A metal jewelry loop can be inserted into the top to hang it if desired. Line the interior with velvet or simply paint it or leave as is. 5 piece set.
