Hypnos
Hypnos
The Greek God of Sleep. The name is the origin of the word hypnosis and he was the dearest friend of the Muses. We all know the Creatives need their sleep to keep those juices flowing! Dwelling in the land of eternal darkness beyond the gates of the rising sun, rising into the sky each night in the train of his mother Nyx. Depicted as a young man with wings on his shoulders and often with either a poppy stem, an inverted torch or a branch dripping water from the river Lethe. Love that this head sculpt is fairy androgynous, you can create it as you see it.
The wings come detached and are easily set in place with a self curing clay like Apoxie Sculpt or glue like E6000. Three piece set. Head has flat bottom. Wings have flat backs.
MeasuresHead 3 1/2” tall x 1 3/8” wide x 1 5/8” deep. Left Wing approx 2 5/8” tall x 2 3/8” wide x 1” thick the Right wing is slightly smaller.
