Neptune handsome and bearded Roman god of all waters, he was believed to be in charge of lakes, rivers and springs before becoming god of the seas. Counterpart of the Greek god Poseidon and brother to Pluto and Jupiter who preside over the realms of heaven and earth. Neptune was also considered to be god of horses as well because he worked with Minerva to make the chariot.
