Sea shells are fascinating, like precious jewels in their form and intricacy. Inspired by Fulco di Verdura’s scallop pieces I designed this to have the feel of something from Roman times. Like a piece that may have once been part of a vase or jar containing olives. It’s also the first in a new series of Cabinet of Curiosity objects. My hope is to send your imagination whirling with ideas.
