There's nothing better in the art industry than working with beautiful creative souls that share and believe in the same thing you do. I am so very thankful to have worked with RELICS & ARTIFACTS® this year. Getting to know Sandra and David and all the team Ambassadors has been a true joy. They are no longer just friends; they are family.
Sadly, as I say good bye to 2016, I also say goodbye to RELICS & ARTIFACTS®. This is my last post as an “Ambassador” for the team and for the first time since 2011, I will not participate in any design teams. It doesn't mean that I won't be working with these products that I love so dearly, because I most certainly will be. It only means that I will not be part of the team and have team responsibilities. Doing this will allow me to focus on other areas of my ART life that have long been neglected.
I know, it doesn't sound like a big step, but for me, it is. It basically means that for the first time in a long time, I will be doing things completely and utterly on my own....and that's kinda scary. I'm excited and nervous about this change, but deep in my heart I know it's the best thing for me.
Before I go, I wanted to share some exciting news. Some of you may already know, but this December I filmed for the PBS show "Make it Artsy"! Say whhhhhhaaaaaat! Crazy right?! It was a scary, overwhelming experience but I am so thankful that I did it in spite of the fear and nerves I was feeling on the inside. EEEEeeeeeek!!
Anyway, I worked on multiple projects for the show and some of them included beautiful Relics from the RELICS & ARTIFACTS® collection. Samples from the show are scattered throughout this post!
Be sure to catch the show. I will be on seasons two and three starting in March 2017.
Thank you, Sandra and David, for accepting me and my creative vision, for the friendship and encouragement in the tribe and from my creative family. We all need a soft place to land and this virtual creative space has been exactly that.
See you around the creative hemisphere my friends! I just might pop up where you least expect me, and an occasional guest spot on the Muse, every now and then.
Much love to you all.
