Her line is Shovava her name is Roza Lee Khamitova. She hand paints, then digitally prints her exotic textile designs which are turned into clothing.Starting with mainly scarves her unique collection has expanded to skirts, leggings, tops and kimonos.
Roza creates using age-old artists' techniques of draftsmanship and painting combined with the marvels of technology. Allowing her to combine her passions: art and fashion into one tangible medium.
An abundance of inspiration surrounds her. She lives in Australia where nature shows off its beauty in all its glory… in the jungle, sea, beach, forests, lakes and valleys. She has a special affinity for birds and they know it, visiting Roza everyday. The natural world is her single greatest source of excitement and interest. She feels it’s the simplest things that create the most interesting and compelling visuals.
Roza’s Current obsession: “Silhouettes of various weeds, flowers and vines. I have based a whole new collection on them!”
Roza’s Favorite Products: “I try to use recycled paper whenever I can and I like Matisse and Atelier drawing inks. I really love the way a great Japanese brush fits in your hand.”
