Recently, Chrissy was asking about our Muse. Well, mine just sparks unannounced, while driving, sleeping or just by catching a glimpse of something as plain as a piece of chipboard or substrate. I had three different materials in front of me, perfectly sized for ATCs and I wanted to experiment on mediums while doing a cohesive unit of three. I've worked on chipboard, wood and acrylic from That's Crafty! out of the United Kingdom.
My inspiration came from the Figureheads set. I wanted to create the bond between siblings. Brothers, sisters, it's all so strong and compelling, how one can stand for the other.
I've also used Cat Kerr's stamp "Brave Heart", because as we grow, one of them can help the other to be brave in unexpected situations...
...one can be the one showing the way and help you follow your heart.
I thought my triptych needed a mother so I added her to the mix, as there is no greater love in the world than the one our mother's have for us!
I've prepared a Snapguide for you on how to work the different surfaces. I used Figureheads from several packages and a pair of wings.
