From the time I was a child, through my teens, and into adulthood, I have always believed in and been drawn to Angels. Possibly due in part to my Catholic background and upbringing, not sure, but angels have always been part of me and hold a very special meaning to me.
In high school my best friend and I used to check out books from the library on Angels all the time and go home and read them together. I still have books that she and I both bought all of those years ago.
Pictures, figurines, statuary, books, you name it, if it was an angel, I was drawn to it.
When I received this Archangel Gabriel I was just so happy to create with it. Sandra has just done such an amazing job with every detail of this piece.
I wanted him to appear time worn by nature, as if he had been out in a garden surrounded by beautiful tree’s and flowers, birds and butterflies, sunshine and rain, and all of the things of nature.
Then, after years of being exposed to the elements, he was moved inside and placed on an ornate pedestal and enshrined in a beautiful glass and metal case for all to see in his naturally aged beauty.
I love this piece so much, and I hope you are inspired to create something with the Relics & Artifacts Archangel Gabriel. It truly is a beautiful and meaningful piece.
